We are looking for individuals that would like to join a fast paced, professional, growing environment. You will oversee and facilitate the intermodal supply chain operations of our company. You will be the one to coordinate personnel and process to achieve the effective distribution of goods. The goal is to ensure the smooth operations of a variety of channels aiming for maximum efficiency.
Responsibilities of Intermodal Coordinator:
- Track loads and provide customers with up-to-date information
- Manage and coordinate daily intermodal shipments with intermodal carriers and customers
- Liaise with customers and carriers to facilitate their pickup and delivery appointments
- Respond quickly to intermodal spot quotes
- Ensure TMS contains current and complete data
- Ensure CP and CN website portals contain complete and accurate data
- Follow up on delivery delays or security issues
- Ensure closure of all orders in the TMS system
- Maintain and grow relationship with Intermodal carrier operators
- Grow and maintain existing customer relationships
- Be available after hours to assist with resolving issues
- Preform work with a sense of urgency and attention to detail
