Fastfrate Group is looking for a team orientated Dispatcher for our Woodbridge office. You’ll bring superior customer service and communication skills to meet deadlines and quality standards. The position requires good computer and multi-tasking skills necessary to perform the role effectively.

What you’ll do:

  • Develops and maintains excellent customer relationships
  • Schedules pick-up and delivery appointment times with customers based on volumes and load requirements.
  • Inform drivers of expectations and requirements of customers
  • Enters shipment status, appointment times etc. into computer system
  • Keeps up to date on shipment and delivery times to ensure appointment times can be maintained.  Rebook appointments as required
  • Provides regular delivery status updates to all parties
  • Performs various clerical duties

Must Haves:

  • Minimum 3 years dispatching experience preferably in the transportation industry
  • Must have knowledge of the Greater Toronto Area cities and streets
  • Superior organization skills
  • Effective and creative problem solver
  • Possess a “Can Do” attitude
  • Good keyboard skills and computer literate using Excel, Word, Outlook and previous dispatch software experience preferred.
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Superior time management and multi-tasking ability

  • Pleasant phone manner
  • Must be fully vaccinated
