Inc. Wins recognition for risk management initiative

(WOODBRIDGE, ON) - Consolidated Fastfrate Inc., one of Canada’s
largest privately owned transportation companies, was recently
presented with “The Risk Management Award for Claims Experience
Excellence” by Hubbard Insurance Brokers Inc. located in
Mississauga, Ontario Canada. This award honours and recognizes the
winning company’s diligence and commitment to responsible claims
management through the implementation of internal programs.
The criteria for selection for this achievement required ongoing and
extensive audits by Hubbard Insurance Inc. over a period of thirty
six months. A cross section of several different industries and
organizations were considered for this award. Consolidated Fastfrate
Inc. has 16 terminals located across Canada and have incorporated a
risk management program that encompasses several different aspects
of their business.
This program’s procedures and policies are categorized to include:
safety, security, management of claims, fleet maintenance, dangerous
goods education and driver training. Mr. John Hubbard, President of
Hubbard Insurance Inc. said, “Consolidated Fastfrate’s entire team
can be justifiably proud of developing and maintaining standards of
operational excellence that have exceeded the industry standard and
meet the regulations set by the national safety code.”
