Another strategic
manoeuvre on behalf of Consolidated Fastfrate Inc., is their recent
acquisition of Network Logistics, which has poised the privately
owned Canadian company to ultimately dominate the transportation
industry in North America.
“This is just one in a
series of further acquisitions that will complement our totally
integrated customer services menu”, says President and CEO Ron
Tepper. This more comprehensive and competitive logistics package
will catapult Fastfrate from just being a carrier to a full-service
provider. Now Fastfrate will maintain a totally integrated network
that lets customers effectively meet the demands of the new economy.
Network Logistics is a
third-party provider that specializes in cross border TL and LTL
from Canada, the United States and Mexico. It’s an international
full service provider with a comprehensive & competitive
logistics solutions package, and enhanced offerings in expedited and
specialized equipment movement. All this gives Fastfrate customers
greater shipping options, while generating cost savings, and
reducing paperwork.
Toronto-based
Consolidated Fastfrate Inc. is Canada's largest privately owned
freight forwarder. The company annually transports in excess of 2.64
million metric tons (1.2 billion pounds) of freight and employs more
than 1,200 people in 16 offices and facilities across North America.
Through recent expansion and strategic acquisitions, Consolidated
Fastfrate Inc. now offers service throughout Canada, the U.S. and
